Standard Rooms, conveniently located on the southern side of the island there are 63 beach-fronted and 17 non-beachfront rooms, in blocks of four rooms adjacent to each other.

Deluxe rooms are all beach-fronted and in blocks of two rooms each with inter-connecting doors and are more spacious with sitting/living area. Deluxe rooms are also ideal for families with small children as well as for the wheelchair-bound guests.
The deluxe rooms at Bandos are similar to standard rooms save for their partitioned living and bedroom facilities – a feature highly preferred by vacationing families. The Garden Villas are elegant wooden chalets situated in the middle of the island, near to the swimming pool. The roof is thatched, and they are surrounded by a carefully tended garden with neatly trimmed hedges and flowers, and they also have their own private sun patio furnished with two relaxing wooden chairs. Inside, the villa has a very refined natural feel with wooden walls and floors throughout. There is a very elegant four-poster king size bed dressed with chic tribal colours, wooden bedside cabinets, with matching table and chairs. The bathroom is equally stylish and partly open air.

- Jacuzzi Beach Villas - (48 rooms / units)

The Jacuzzi Beach Villas are designed to make your stay on Bandos a most memorable occasion. Set on the edge of the white sandy beach, overlooking a crystal clear lagoon, surrounded by tropical vegetation and majestic palms - perfect! These stunning detached duplex villas are round in design, with a living room down stairs, and a large bedroom on the first floor that leads out to a small balcony.

At the front there is a private sun terrace with a table and two chairs. The entrance leads into the living room with its cool wooden floors and elegant seating area, and curved stairs that lead up to the first floor bedroom. The luxury part open air bathroom is accessed from the living room, and you will love the elegant double sinks, and the double showers finished with natural stone. The bathroom then opens out into a private walled garden with a large round Jacuzzi made for two that sits under its own thatched roof.

The first floor bedroom has a glorious king size bed dressed in crisp white cotton sheets, a table and two chairs, and patio doors that lead out to a small private balcony. On the beach you will find two private sun loungers - relax and enjoy!

       Bandos offers you a fabulous variety of culinary options from a la carte to Indian, from local cuisine to continental delicacies and much more besides. There are four restaurants to choose from, including a 24 hour coffee shop that will leave even the most discerning of appetites satisfied.

- The Harbour Restaurant - Harbour Grill

Artful and elegant, the Harbour Restaurant at Bandos is designed with fine-dining in mind. With an option of dining either indoors, in a comfortable air-conditioned atmosphere or outdoors where you can savour the view and gentle breeze. The Harbour specialises, among many other culinary delights, in Maldivian game fish, innumerable seafood delicacies, the finest in Italian pastas and other international cuisines.

The Harbour Grill, open daily for dinner between 1900 - 2200hrs, is one of the most popular dining outlets on Bandos. Our guests delight in having a romantic candle lit dinner for two under the stars overlooking the blue lagoon on one side and the harbour on the other. The Harbour Grill specializes in presenting with the best of Maldivian fish, a large variety of seafood, home-made pasta and a selection of tender steaks char grilled to taste. The silver light of the moon, the music of the Bandos Calypso band and the most delicious food make it a night to remember.

Right at the water’s edge is the resorts Sand Bar, Opens from 07.30 until the last satisfied customer leaves. Enjoy the exotic atmosphere barefoot on the sand floor sipping a tropical drink from our wide selection. Our live band invites you to listen or dance the night away, try Karaoke or dance to the hot rhythms played by our DJ.

The classic island-beach bar, the Sand Bar's modern facilities blend well with the tropical atmosphere. The sand floor and island ambience of the bar is ideal for customers to enjoy one of our many tropical cocktails or any other beverage that suits their fancy.

The Sand Bar is designed with fun in mind and we assure you that our guests would have a wonderful time either with our top-notch karaoke facilities, live band or discotheque evenings.

- Gallery Restaurant

The main restaurant of Bandos, known as the "GALLERY Restaurant" is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and specializes in catering for guests whose holiday package includes all meals - yet is open to all the guests. Package holidaymakers, however, are not restricted to one restaurant, but are welcome to eat either at the Coffee shop or the Harbour Grill with a discount voucher issued by the restaurant.

- Sea Breeze Cafe - Coffee Shop

The recently commissioned Sea Breeze Café is situated at the edge of the water where customers can lounge on the large outdoor over-water deck and enjoy the breathtaking view of the lagoon while relaxing in the gentle breeze.

The Coffee Shop is open 24 hours and offers a varied A La Carte Menu, ranging from Spaghetti Bolognaise to authentic Indian Curry. True to its name it provides a refreshing moment after a long sunbath. Seating is available inside, or outside under our huge Banyan Tree.

- Sun downers Beach Bar

Located on the east side of the island, close to the Dive School, the Sun downers Bar is so named because it is the best place to watch breathtaking Maldivian sunsets. The enormous sundeck allows you to watch the beautiful stars in the night or the blueness of the sky in the day and makes you unwind and relax. Soft music fills the air in the evening while you watch glorious sunsets.

Opens daily between 0730 - 1930hrs. A favorite among divers for a quick snack and a cool drink after a dive. A romantic place for a drink during sunset.

- Pool Bar

Check-out the resorts swim up pool bar while on your refreshing swim in our main pool. In the midst of the beautiful surrounding of palm trees and blossoms with their lush fragrance, a chilled drink is all you need to bring out the sunny spirit within you. Relax under the shade and feel the bubbles of its Jacuzzi stools with your loved ones.

Offering wide variety of juice drinks to soft ice creams and milkshakes, the pool bar makes sure you are well cared for and looked after providing for all your pool-side requirements. No need to carry all those fully stuffed bags and towels to our pool, just simply enjoy yourself.

For those guests who seek a more professional path to keeping fit or even relaxing, the sports complex at Bandos, Paradise Club is the answer to keeping fit both physically and mentally. Our gymnasium, equipped with state of the art equipment and staffed by qualified friendly instructors, is open to all our guests free of charge. Come on in and enjoy a free aerobics session with our instructors, or indulge in a game of badminton, beach volleyball or tennis in our flood-lit courts. The club even has its own swimming pool.

For those wishing to take it a bit easier we have billiards facilities. One can also lounge about in our TV room where we feature major news, sports and entertainment channels. Also featured are table tennis and board games.

- Kids Club

At Bandos we think of making your holiday as hassle free as possible, and for those families travelling with young children the Child Care Centre and Kids Club would prove to be a blessing. Now you can enjoy your holiday comfortable in the knowledge that your children are in the capable care of our professional child minders and baby sitters.

The facilities are free of charge and the staff of Kids Club provides baby-sitting services free of charge between 0900hrs to 1700hrs, although a small charge is levied after 1700hrs. The Kids Club is equipped with a nursery full of toys and a large playground outside so that even your children would be guaranteed an enjoyable holiday experience.

- Diving Centre

It would not be an exaggeration to claim that Bandos has the best dive centre in the entire country. Dive Bandos is one of the longest established centres in the country and our professional staff will ensure that you experience the lush underwater gardens, colourful fishes and magnificent seascapes in total safety. The Dive Centre is a spacious facility complete with air-conditioned audio visual classrooms, library, hot water showers, and spacious storage rooms. Located nearby is the Sundowners Bar for your relaxation after an invigorating dive. It goes without saying that the equipment we employ is the best and features internationally reputed brands such as Mares, Scubapro, Aqua Lung, Dive Rite and Suunto, to name but a few. It should also comfort our customers to know that we have an in-house service shop to ensure that all our equipment is up to standards.

- Bandos Diving Medical

In all emergencies, the islands Medical Clinic with a Decompression Chamber is at your disposal. While diving with us, all divers are insured free of charge against Decompression Sickness (DCS), requiring chamber treatments up to €6000. Bandos Medical has two Medical doctors (European), a General Practitioner and a Dive Medical Officer and a nurse on location 24 hrs a day.

Sunset Weddings:
The "Kuda Bandos Sunset Wedding" features a taste of a traditional island ceremony, with a sunset boat ride, unique cultural costumes, Maldivian drums and local style decoration. The ceremony is held on the beach of an uninhabited island called Kuda Bandos followed by a private cruise for the newlyweds on a Dhoni (Maldivian boat). After which enjoy a romantic private dinner set on the beach of Kuda Bandos. This is a uniquely tropical Maldivian experience.

Conferences:
The Bandos Convention Centre offers numerous facilities, modern equipment and experienced staff who have already hosted several international conferences with remarkable success.
The Convention Centre has four rooms. The Orchid Room is the main hall and can accommodate 450 persons theatre style and 250 persons banquet style. The hall, in addition, has two administrative offices and six multi-language translation booths.

Dive Bandos has a fleet of up to 4 modern, spacious fibre glass dhonis, all equipped with life vests, First Aid equipment, DAN Oxygen kits and radio to enable communication with the dive centre and the island. The experienced and well-trained boat crew is always ready to help you in any way they can. All our staff are regularly trained in emergency first aid techniques.

The house reef here at Bandos, considered one of the best in North Malé Atoll, will certainly give visitors a glimpse of one the true marvels of the Maldives.

The water sports centre at Bandos is staffed with professional who are highly skilled in their craft and are fluent in English, Japanese and German. Some of our most preferred activities include snorkelling, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, water skiing, parasailing, banana boat riding, wakeboard, knee board, fun tubes and canoeing. What’s important to note here is that this is not an exhaustive list and the possibilities are most certainly unlimited. The Water Sports facility here at Bandos also offer top notch catamaran and windsurfing facilities and boasts quality equipment such as Hifly, North-Sails and Topcats.

-  Fishing

Our love for fishing should then come as no surprise, and Bandos is proud to share the Maldivian flair for fishing with our guests, particularly the art of baitless fishing. One needn’t be a professional as our team includes professional fishermen who will be able to assist you throughout the course of the entire trip. Geared towards this end is our state of the art vessel. A Prowler equipped with a fish finder, global positioning systems, radar and so forth.
Different types of fish are caught depending on the monsoon. The country experiences two main seasons, the South West Monsoon and the North East Monsoon. The South West Monsoon, which usually starts in May and continues until August, is the rainy season. However, given that these coral isles have an abundance of marine fauna, there hardly is a time when a trip fails to yield a good catch.

Night Fishing & Kuda Bandos BBQ
Your visit to Bandos Island Resort and Spa is not complete without trying your hand on the local pass time activity - FISHING. This is definitely a night to remember full of scenes and memories. Bait your hook, drop your line direct from a dhoni to the reef and hope for a nibble as you watch the spectacular colors of sunset and ocean waves lap the surrounding islands.
After 2 hours of fishing for your own supper, we prepare a delicious barbecue on the beach of Kuda Bandos. While you are waiting to barbecue your catch of the evening our staff will entertain you with spectacular bodu beru (local music with drums, rhythm and dance). After dinner you can just sit and relax with your loved ones on the white powder sandy beach to watch the glittering bon fire on the shore.

-  Snorkeling

The coral reefs in Maldives are inhabited by diverse marine life and are teaming with colourful fish. Snorkeling is the easiest way to enjoy the beauty found beyond the lagoon. Please wear adequate sun screen. Reef snorkeling takes place directly from the boat, and is therefore suitable for stronger swimmers. If you are new to snorkeling we suggest you begin it on the house reef or the reef at Kuda Bandos.

Please remember reefs are fragile ecosystems. Please do not stand, walk on the corals or reef. Do not try to take any souvenirs from the underwater world. It is not safe to remove corals as it may be even poisonous and may hurt your hands or feet.

-  Land Sports

Indulge in a game of badminton, beach volleyball or tennis in the resorts flood-lit courts. The club even has its own swimming pool.

For those wishing to take it a bit easier the resort have billiards facilities. One can also lounge about in the resorts TV room which features major news, sports and entertainment channels. Also featured are table tennis and board games.

-  Night-life in Bandos

The heart of the nightlife of Bandos is at the Sand bar, where two of the best Maldivian bands play twice a week and the popular DJ invites the guests to the dance floor to dance away the blues. Or try your voice at Karaoke in the bar. The Calypso Band performs daily during the evenings at the restaurants and coffee shop as well as the Sand Bar. Ask for your favorite song while you’re enjoying your meal. Listen to Maldivian songs in the Jukebox for a taste of local songs. In addition to night diving, night snorkelling and surfing.

-  Kuda Bandos - Picnic Island

A shout away from the main island of Bandos is the uninhabited island of Kuda Bandos (literally meaning small Bandos) ideal for a private picnic on the beach or merely enjoying the sunset after a full day of snorkelling the reef or swimming in the clear blue lagoon.
Open throughout the week except Fridays, Saturdays and other public holidays, Kuda Bandos is the penultimate Robinson Crusoe experience.

Island Hopping
Hop on board a local mechanized dhoni and sail away across the North Male’ Atoll to explore the different types of Islands in the area. Snorkel or swim and take a nap while you top up that tan in our tropical paradise. Discover a local island and see Maldivians at work and experience their island lifestyle.
Visit a local souvenir shop; buy some thing to remember on the trip before we land on our own picnic island for lunch. The full day tour includes the picnic lunch on the beach on our very own uninhabited island of KUDA Bandos (Little Bandos). Half day tours start after breakfast and we return to Bandos for lunch.

Male Tour
Male’ tour is a unique. Perhaps Male’ is the smallest capital city in the world. Explore the streets of this tiny and unique island city through a guided tour by experienced local tour leaders. Watch the fisherman unload their catch at the bustling local fish market or wander the aisles of the colourful Maldivian consumable products at the local market. Learn about the history and culture of the Maldives by visiting places of interest in the city. Although Male’ is not the shopping capital of the world, you will find plenty of enthusiastic vendors keen to show you around their souvenir shops.
