Dhonveli Beach formerly known as Tari Village is one of the Worlds famous surfing resorts and the island has the privilege of hosting may world class surfing competitions.
Note: All surfurs should be buying the surf packages through Atoll Travel Australia and individual surfers are strictly prohibited to visit the island and surf on or from the island.

The entry level of accommodation is the extra-spacious Beach pavilion with brand new interiors. It comprises a bedroom, an indoor bath and an outdoor courtyard with a Maldivian open-air shower set in the exotic confines of its own walled garden. The Beach Pavilions are slightly set back from the beach for additional privacy yet offer easy access to it. 18 of the 25 units have interconnecting gates which make them the perfect choice for a family on vacation.

These are built as two separate rooms in a single storey structure. They are furnished with a four poster bed with hung draperies on the sides and a divan that can be used as a day bed, wardrobe, a mini-bar closet and a writing table with chairs; spacious enough to place another extra bed and good for family use. The adjacent spacious and airy outdoor lavatory is built with a bath tub and shower-area with a small garden. The front façade faces the ocean and the beach.

Other classic breaks - Sultans, Honky's and Jailbreak - are less than ten minutes away by boat. You can see the waves from Chaaya Dhonveli, so you'll know when they're pumping.
Boats are available throughout the day, from 6am for those who want a solid session before breakfast. We make morning and afternoon trips to Chickens and Colas (about 45 minutes away) when conditions are favourable.
All boats have radio communication with each other and the island, for the latest information on surf conditions and surfer numbers, and as a safety precaution.

BBQ at Kuda Bandos Island
A full day outing at the beautiful island of Kuda Bandos, situated less than an hour's boat ride from Chaaya Island Dhonveli. Guided snorkeling, a succulent BBQ and sunbathing are the order of the day.
Sunset And Night Fishing
